Which 2018 Movies will be Worth Seeing?

list of films to be released in 2018. I’m going to comment on the ones that look interesting, much as I did in September, but this time, looking at the entire year ahead. They are in chronological order by release date. Like last time, the films I’ve heard about are mostly sequels, series films, and remakes, with a couple of exceptions. Will wait on reviews.Pacific Rim: Uprising I liked the original. May wait on Cinemascore before seeing this sequel in the theater.Ready Player One This looks like epic Cyberpunk. Please be good.The Nutcracker and the Four RealmsIf I hear this Disney film is good, I might see it.X-Men: Dark Phoenix Update: The release date for Dark Phoenix has been moved back to February, 2019. This confirms the idea that this film is at risk of being canned, now that Disney is buying Fox. Fox’s first attempt to make the Phoenix Saga into a film killed the original X-Men franchise, triggering a reboot. Marvel will want to get it right this time.Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald I’ll wait for reviews but, if they’re good, I plan to see this.Spider-Man: Into the Spider-VerseI’m not too interested in this animated film about Miles Moralis, the new Spiderman from the comics. If I hear its really good, I may see it.Mortal EnginesThis Guillermo De Toro film about mobile cities could be good. It looks epic. I’ll probably see how the reviews are.AquamanI’ll wait for reviews. I liked Jason Momoa in Justice League.Bohemian Rhapsody I’m not much of a fan of bio picks, but might see this if I hear it’s really good.
