Review of “Insurgent”

Insurgent was fun, the acting was fine, and the eff

ects looked great. I didn’t enjoy this sequel nearly as much as the 1st installment (Divergent). It lacked the discovery of the imagined future, the development of the main characters, the underdog story, and the emerging love story. There was plenty of excitement, a couple of twists, and a very tame sex scene. The ending points to what may be a much more interesting final chapter.
