An interesting multithreaded story with each actor (Tom “Woody” Hanks, Halle “Storm” Berry, Jim “Slughorn” Broadbent, Hugo “Elrond” Weaving, Jim “Jude” Sturgess, and Doona “that chick from the Host” Bae) taking on multiple roles. Each thread takes place in a different era. I kept hoping that the ending could somehow bring the diverse plot threads to a satisfying conclusion, but my hopes were unfounded. I see why the film received the poor reception it did.
