Here’s a list of the films coming in 2020 that look interesting or not worth watching. I’ll continue to update as new films are announced.

Why? The original Juon and the Hollywood remake the Grudge were great. The sequels sucked. Heard this is terrible.

Gritty looking war movie. I’ve heard this is good, but maybe not a must see in the cinema. I’ll wait to stream it.
Kirsten Stewart undersea thriller. Bombed at the box office. Will likely stream this, as I’ve heard its decent.
Drama about a psychiatrist with three patients who all think their Christ. Doc is Richard Gere, one of the Christs is Peter “Tyrion” Dinklage. Might be a streamer.

Guy Richie gangster pic with Matthew MacCaugnahey, Hugh Grant. Heard it’s good, will likely stream it.
Horror film based on James’s Turn of the Screw. Has Fynn Wolfhard from Stranger Things. Was totally panned. No go!
H P Lovecraft story with Nick Cage. Might be streamable, but I want to hear it’s decent first.

Margo “Harley” Robbie leads this sequel to suicide squad, with Ewen “Obi-wan” McGregor as the villain. Terrible promotion. Got a good rating. Might be a streamer.

Horror take on a mediocre 70’s TV series with the mediocre Michael Peña as Mr. Rourke. Stuckman hated it and gave it an F. I’ll pass.
Jim Carrie as Dr. Robotnic. Mick loved it. I may stream when it comes out.
Comedy kung-fu. Could be a fun stream.

Daniel “Harry” Radcliffe is attacked and wakes up with guns bolted to his hands. The top player in an IRL battle royale is after him. Looks nuts. Will stream this once released.

Marky Mark, framed as a dirty cop, gets out of prison and has to redeem himself. Fun Netflix film. Good performances all round.

James Patterson murder mystery starring Jeffrey Dean “Comedian” Stanton and Famke “Jean” Jensen. This was pretty good.
Arty looking story about a man experiencing alternate realities.

Young adult fantasy based on the books. Looks cool, but apparently doesn’t follow the book. To be released directly to Disney+. Might stream it.
Based on the ancient Arthurian tale “Sir Gawain and the Green Knight”. Could be good. Arthur has had his share of very poor adaptations over the years, so my expectations are low.

Finally, the long delayed horror X-Men film from Fox. I’ll wait and stream it unless I hear its great. Was to be released on PVOD due to CV. Previous theatrical release date (after several delays) was April 13, 2020.

Presumably a remake of the Isaac Asimov novel.
In a zombie apocalypse, a band of natives in Canada discover that they are immune. Could be good, but my expectations are low.
Generation Zero
Matrix like science fiction film. Possibly Russian. Has potential.
Action film with what looks like some great fight scenes.

Would have to watch 1-8 first, so likely won’t see this. Note: Delayed by 1 year due to Covid-19.
